Our Company
Evaluation and Certification Services, LLC (ECS)
provides high quality services and products to the
construction industry and its related associations
and trade groups. ECS strives to bring affordable
and non-biased evaluation programs and certification
services to the industry in compliance with model
building code requirements. ECS also provides
consulting services and related products to the
industries it serves.
History and Clients
ECS was
formed in 2005 in the Washington, DC area at the
request of several trade groups operating throughout
North America who were in need of various services
including the design and operation of training and
certification programs, and the creation of various
instructional manuals. ECS has recently relocated to
Phoenix, Arizona to manage several local trade
associations.

Current clients include the Apprenticeship and
Training Department of the International Association
of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing
Ironworkers, The National Association of Home
Builders, The Arizona Chapter of the American Concrete Institute,
The Structural Engineers Association of Arizona, and
others.
ECS designed and operates the Post Tensioning
Ironworker Certification™
program utilized by the Ironworkers Union throughout
the United States and Canada to provide independent
third party evaluation and certification of
Ironworkers installing post-tension reinforcing
systems.
Management
ECS is
staffed by experienced professionals with experience
in trade association management and certification
program development and administration. In addition
we have professionals on staff with construction
industry experience in concrete, reinforcing, and
post-tensioning.
